The glory hole! Probably not the same glory hole that you may have been thinking of! This glory hole is used to reheat the glass as we work it. typically this piece of equipment runs at a temperature of 2200*F, using a forced air and propane burner system.
The glass furnace is where we keep the molten glass. typically the furnace runs at 2150*F using wire elements controlled by solid state relays.
The annealer is the last stop in our glass studio. After the Glass is worked into its final shape, its put into the annealer for slow cooling.
